Welcome to Sprite Sheet Tool's Privacy Policy. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our browser-based sprite sheet tools at https://spritesheettool.com/ (packing frames into sheets, extracting GIF frames, splitting sheets, and exporting game-ready assets).

Your privacy is important to us. Sprite Sheet Tool is designed to require as little data as possible: there is currently no account system, and all image processing happens locally in your browser.

Information We Collect

Your Images and Files

We do not collect, receive, or store the images, GIFs, or sprite sheets you work with. All uploading, packing, splitting, and exporting happens entirely client-side in your browser using the Canvas API — your files are never sent to our servers.

Usage Data

  • Analytics: We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate usage (for example, which export format or tool mode is used). Umami does not use cookies and cannot identify you personally.
  • Technical Data: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) may be recorded temporarily for security and troubleshooting purposes.

Preference Cookies

  • Language (NEXT_LOCALE) and theme (active_theme) cookies remember your display preferences across visits. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How We Use Information

  • To operate and improve the tool (understanding which features are used and how)
  • To detect and address technical issues
  • To respond if you contact us for support

Data Sharing

We do not sell your information. Since we don't collect your images or personal data in the first place, there is nothing to share with third parties beyond the anonymous, aggregate analytics described above.

Accounts and Payments

Sprite Sheet Tool is currently a free tool with no account system and no paid plans. If we introduce accounts or paid features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe what additional data that would involve before it takes effect.

Children's Privacy

Our tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, since the tool itself is anonymous and account-free.
